Lewis Ihnatko (b.1995 Sydney), grew up between Cleveland, Ohio, Washington, DC and Sydney, and is a multidisciplinary artist who primarily paints. Ihnatko’s work draws from autobiographical experiences, blending personal history with imagined narratives. In both life and art, Ihnatko has a natural tendency to embellish stories - transforming memories into complex narratives. This impulse turns his ordinary experiences and ideas into surreal images with undefined and ambiguous meanings.

Ihnatko currently lives and works in Sydney Australia. Ihnatko’s solo exhibitions include: Specialized, Nasha Gallery, Warrang/ Sydney, 2025; In the interim, Sheffer Gallery, Warrang/Sydney, 2019; Big Go #1, District 9 Gallery, Warrang/Sydney, 2016.
